The Vice Dean of Woman’s Colleges at King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia 2014- Present

 

 Main Activities and Responsibilities:
  • Fostering the development of administrative policy and initiatives within the context of the long-term strategies of the KAU.

  • Promoting strategic thinking and ensuring co-ordination between disciplines, and ensuring the best quality of HR services.

  • Having overall responsibility for the facilitation of the programs of teaching and the implementation of the academic policy of the Women’s Colleges.

  • Ensuring the effective delivery of high quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.

  • Promoting a culture of learning that is directed to student needs, and of teaching that is informed by the research interests of the teaching staff at the colleges.

  • Fostering a working environment culture of international standard.

  • Promoting excellence and improvement in all matters of administration.

  • Dealing with staff recruitment matters that fall within the remit of the Vice-Deanery.

  • Creating a supportive working environment for all staff at the Women’s colleges and fostering their career development.

  • Ensuring that staff review and development is completed in a timely manner.

  • Confirming the allocation of duties to staff as determined by the relevant Head of Discipline, and the management of staff in accordance with KAU policies and procedures.
