The Medical Administration is a center for providing several complete medical and health services in the highest standards attracting the outstanding calibers and keeping up with the latest technologies and techniques in which serves all the university community.

 

Duties and responsibilities of the Unit:

  • Offering full medical and health services in a high standard of quality that cope along with the medical practices.
  • Offering primary care services in the fields of women's health (OB/GYN), dentistry to all university employees and students.
  • Offering informational and health programs to different university departments.
  • Medical checkup for all university employees and students.
  • Diagnosing cases and treating special chronic diseases in individualized specialized clinics.
  • Requesting the needed tests for diagnosing diseases.

    -   Medical cases to the University Hospital or the health facilities     when needed.

  • Opening medical files for the employees and students and issuing them medical ID cards.
  • Recording the medical history in the patients’ files.
  • Following up with the results of the medical tests requested.
  • Providing the needed nursing services.
  • Providing first aid for emergency cases.
  • Prescribing medications for patients.
  • Receiving medical records of patients.
  • Issuing sick leaves.
  • Exporting paperwork from the unit to different departments.
  • Providing educational and health services for the unit’s employees and students.
